cheaper triple finderscope mount bracket

#1

Post by ARock »

These double/triple finderscope mount brackets used to be expensive (Orion Y bracket) in the $40-$50 range. These are useful on Dobs if you want to mount both a RACI and a RDF on one finder mount point. I remember going for a Telrad on my Dob, partly because it was cheaper than the Y bracket, although I use the Telrad mostly as a RDF along with the magifying RACI.

I saw this the other day on ebay, and looks like someone has finally figured out that these should cost less. So I ordered one even though I am not sure I need it right now :)

I got it today. Mounts fine with the RACI and Multi Reticle RDF on the Dob.

Nice find ARock (sorry for the pun). How long did it take to receive the mount bracket?
