Over the years I had lots of eyepieces. They came and went. From Huygens to Nagler. Much depends on the telescope I use.

The most used ones on the most used telescopes ( 120mm Evostar and 150mm Skytraveller)
- 24 mm Panoptic
- 30 mm Eudiascopic
- 18-9 mm Leica ASPH zoom
- 6 mm Fujiyama orthoscopic
- 5 mm Pentax XO5
- 2,5 mm Pentax XO2,5
- Essential addition 2X Zeiss barlow
If I was to choose the most versatile one, I'd say the Leica.
And my favorite is: ..................don't know................they are all good.
Refractors in frequency of use : *SW Evostar 120ED F/7.5 (all round ), * Vixen 102ED F/9 (vintage), both on Vixen GPDX.
GrabnGo on Alt/AZ : *SW Startravel 102 F/5 refractor( widefield, Sun, push-to), *OMC140 Maksutov F/14.3 ( planets).
Most used Eyepieces: *Panoptic 24, *Morpheus 14, *Leica ASPH zoom, *Zeiss barlow, *Pentax XO5.
Commonly used bino's : *Jena 10X50 , * Canon 10X30 IS, *Swarovski Habicht 7X42, * Celestron 15X70, *Kasai 2.3X40
Rijswijk Public Observatory: * Astro-Physics Starfire 130 f/8, * 6 inch Newton, * C9.25, * Meade 14 inch LX600 ACF, *Lunt.
Amateur astronomer since 1970.

I would say my DSLR is my fave but that's cheating!

The one I use most is my Skywatcher 32mm Plossl. I don't use eyepieces much, as I'm more into photography and use my binoculars for browsing more than a telescope. I can see quite a lot of detail in my camera viewfinder, such as cloud belts on Jupiter and Saturn's rings.

I sometimes use my Bresser electronic eyepiece for planetary and lunar photography.

My favorite is currently the APM UFF 24mm eyepiece, quite new in my flock. It has such outstanding viewing comfort paired with highly corrected field and high contrast that I have not seen in any other eyepiece with large AFOV ever. Using it feels like looking through a spacecraft's window. I read that some people replaced their highly regarded TeleVue Panoptics with these. Fo the price of a TeleVue Plossl, it was a freakin steal!

I've gotta say my 14mm UWA Meade Series 4000 84 degree eyepieces. I have the older smoothie version and the later version with the eyecup! I wanted to compare the two and I thought I would keep one and sell the other, but I like both versions as the FOV is slightly different for each! Each time I take out one of my telescopes, I can't wait to slip either one of these in my focuser! However, I have to admit that out of the two, the smoothie is my favorite!

Like others I believe the idea of a "favorite" is too broad a concept because of the number of variables associated with the scope in use, object type being observed and localized conditions. But since I predominantly focus on galaxies using my 17.5 inch f/4.5 dob at the dark site I will say that my most frequently used set for that specific purpose is listed below. Each has a function and is an integral part of the whole.

ES 82° 18mm (110x, 0.7° TFOV, 4.0mm exit pupil) - my locating eyepiece of choice

TV Ethos 100° 13mm (152x, 0.7° TFOV, 2.9mm exit pupil) - my latest acquisition and what I consider my galaxy cluster buster

Pentax XW 70° 10mm (198x, 0.4° TFOV, 2.2mm exit pupil) - to dig for details

Pentax XW 70° 7mm (283x, 0.2° TFOV, 1.6mm exit pupil) - for confirming details and digging even deeper

If needed and conditions permit I also have the XW 5mm (397x, 0.2° TFOV, 1.1mm exit pupil) plus a barlow (1.5x or 2x mode).
