A set of Celestron Ultima/Pseudo Masuyama EPs came out for sale on Astromart. I almost pulled the trigger on it, but I already have too many sets of nice EPs and not enough time to enjoy it.

Still looks very tempting. I ... must ... resist.

I have a complete range of focal lengths variously branded. I'm happy with that. Now if someone was selling a complete set branded Takahashi for less money than Zeus has, I might take greater notice. They are great performers.

Bigzmey there is NO such thing as to many eyepieces
Definitely not a set you see for sale often.

Hello Andrey,

I am somehow not a big fan of the Zeiss Astroplan design cloned by Masuyama and then made cheaper by others.
What I have added to my arsenal in 2019, this have been Abbe orthos for the focus lengths I believe to need.
Best,
JG

I have a set of high transmittance TV Plossls smoothies I am very happy with in my main EP case.

If I get this Ultima set then either I have to kick TV smoothies out of the EP case, or stick Ultima set into the sock drawer. Both are not happy scenarios. This is what stopping me for now. But if the price goes lower, who knows...

I'm beginning to think that EPs to you are like shoes to Emelda Marcos! You just can't have too many!

Yep, almost half as many as I have. From where I'm sitting I can see 6 and I know there are a couple more around and about.

There are 4 full size and 1 -3/4 size beside the computer desk and a stack of them in the other room.... its an addiction.... :)
It is even worse when you find places that can make eyepieces for you!
