Saw a question that has not been answered at www.astronomyforum.com. I am a little interested in the Luminous 15mm. What say you? Right click the images.

15mm is the best in Luminos line. I would not hesitate to recommend it to any SCT or refractor user. It performs to the same level as ES82 14mm or Meade UWA 14mm.

7mm and 10mm worked nicely in my refractors, but had a soft focus in SCT.

Avoid 19 to 31mm, they have to much of field curvature for my liking.

They are better in slow scopes at f10 where they are pleasing. They are not so good at f5. I already have Panoptics and Deloses for f5 and they still beat out the Luminos at f10 so I sold off the Luminos. They are a good budget alternative to TV for slow scopes but don't perform as well even at f10.

I had / have the 2” - 31 & 23 mm and the 1.25” - 15 & 10mm eps, I still have the 15 & 10mm’s, they are all excellent performers but the 2” were a little on the heavy side for my liking so I sold them. They also competed with a number of other great performers that I tend to use more often, ongoing. I would recommend the 15mm and / or the 10mm for performance vs the price any day !

I have the 10, 15 and 19mm. I like mine even in fast refractors, maybe a little EOFB, but cheaper than a Nagler. I'm not that fussy I guess.
