Five New Accessories
Been using my 20x80 binoculars to find and enjoy viewing objects. I use my telescope for greater than 20 magnification. However, the red dot finder on my telescope is not totally sufficient in finding objects already targeted with my binoculars. Some times I would have to go back to the telescope two or even three times. The straight through finder that came with the telescope is *&#@%&. Thus the need to upgrade to a better finder scope.
These threeGSO plossls will help with those very faint objects. I have a Svbony Gold Line 15mm that barlows for the moon, planets, and star doubles very well. I do not like exchanging eyepieces in and out of a barlow. Due to the constant need to clean dubre out of the barlow. I could not find a 15mm Plossl with good Eye relief, so I also purchased a Svbony Red Line 15mm eyepiece. I have a slow f8 scope, thus the Svbonys do very well. I will upgrade from the Svbonys after I purchase a 152mm f/ 5 refractor for my GSO plossls hahaha.

Congratulatoons on the new "tools" refractordude !
Good to go with theGSO RACI finder.
I made the mistake with my first telescope purchase of getting the straight through finder. I did not know any better.
I have religated it to a Pirate Spyglass status...
Before I got aRACI finder I used to line myself up behind the telescope looking over the top like sighting a rifle.
It is surprising how close I came.
Forgot to mention I was looking through my 10X30 binoculars while aiming the scope...not naked eye...
