GSO 3 element barlow?

I am looking for a better Barlow than the no-name 2x Barlow I already own. Do any of the members here own the GSO 3 element 2.5x Barlow? I have read that the actual magnification is 2.1x. I have heard a lot about the good value of the 2 element 2x GSO Barlow but not much about the 3 element Barlow. Agenda Astro is out of stock on it at $50, but I see it's available direct from China on eBay for $10 less delivered.

I already own the TV 2.5x Barlow, but prefer not to use it for my refractors for hitting the diagonal mirror and the GSO is the shorter version. I have never measured the TV Barlow to see if it is actually 2.5x but I imagine it is accurate.

The TV barlow will be accurate for magnification the GSO not as much, close though
There is no real advantage of a 3 element “shorty” barlow over a two element.
Get whichever has the largest clear aperture.

Hmm...good to know! I'm not sure if either of the GSO has an advantage of having a larger clear aperture but I will check it out. I will test the GSO Barlow I choose against my other Barlows to see what difference if any I can see. Maybe I should compare my no-name Barlow I already own against the TV Barlow first? It might save me some money!

Are you looking for 2" or 1.25" 2x Barlow? My all time favorite is TV 2x. Another good alternative is older made in Japan Celestron Ultima. They come out for sale in $50 range quite often.
