6mm Antares series 4 W70 vs. Delos mm

On Jupiter with my 10" f/4.6 with a 1/10 wave mirror, slightly better than average. Planet details are nearly the same. Swapping back and forth 1st one looked better then the other looked better, so pretty much a toss up.

Over on Saturn where the W70 Series 3 had a lot of light scatter around planet, the series 4 was equal to the Delos with minimal haze around planet.

Back to Jupiter they again looked about the same but noticed Delos had a very white Jupiter and the W70-4 was a little more earthy tones to the planet. They both showed the fine details equally.

Got the series 4 from Telescopes Canada in one week to USA for $230. If you don't wanna spend almost $400 for the Delos, Antares has a fine alternative.
Arizona- where the sky's are not cloudy all night.

Triple lensed fracs are so yummy when looking at planets.

Why are you calling your Speers-Waler a W70, they are different designs?
I have a set of the first run S-W which still compare well with todays eyepieces.
Antares has/ does make some good equipment.
The S-W 5mm - 8mm zoom is a fantastic eyepiece.

You are rite, the ad does not say W70.

I used to be a ducatista also, even road raced the bike below, but that was long ago and far away.

What barlow do you use with the 8-5 zoom to reach planetary powers?

I have a few different ones but using my 102mm f/10 I get a 0.5mm exit pupil at 5mm and 0.8mm at 8mm without a barlow.
I have a older made in Japan Antares 2x that is very nice.
I usually keep it in my travel case.

That is a beautiful motocycle!

I had my last testing/ track days October 27/ 28.
At the end of the last day I was caught up in a collision of two other motocycles and I should have the last of the replacement parts this Friday.
A few more laps and I would have made the entire season without major damage
