Eyepieces are all high end optics from $100 to $340.
The Takahashi TOE 4mm was clearly the best. Tack sharp like an ortho with really good contrast between greys, whites and browns. No Great Red Spot on this side.
The Astro Hutech orthoscopic and T.S. Optics UWA were about the same, just slightly less definition than the Tak TOE.
A Televue lens is almost always the best of the bunch, but not here. The Delite while very close to the T.S. and the orthoscopic was just behind them in how crisp and sharp the view could be.
The T.S. Optics lens looks to be a remake of the William Optics UWAN series. There are 4, 7 and 16mms. They have been improved with a nitrogen charge, housing redesign and a price cut of 1/2, around $100 EU. Where the old UWAN was about as good as a TV Radian on the planets, these new ones are close to the best of the best. 82 degrees, great on the planets, relatively cheap, these are the best value ever!
