Celestron Has Some New Eyepieces

Not sure why they are advertised as new. E-lux line has been around for a while. These are very basic EPs (3 element Kellner). In this price range GSO Superviews offer better performance.

These are actually better for light transmission than a plossl (4 elements) in slower scopes (Think F10 SCT types) due to less glass surfaces. (3 elements)
With my 8 inch SCT I preferred Edmond RKE (reverse Kellner) because I wanted 1-1/4 inch but they had only a 45 degree field in comparison to Celestron’s 56 degrees. I was binoviewing so I didn’t really care that much about field. Your application may differ.....

Had a set of these, ended up selling them. They've a nice heavy well built feel to them, and the image quality was pretty good as I remember in my F10 scope. I got them because I wanted a 2" with long eye relief to do outreach yet something inexpensive I wouldn't mind too much if a kid stuck his finger in it. Unfortunately they seemed very finicky about eye position. Not a problem for me personally, but I knew if would be for doing outreach.
