ChicagoRandy is locked out

#1

Post by smp »

I received the following message from ChicagoRandy, a member here:

"Hiya, I followed your advice and joined TSS and LOVE it over there - however, somehow I can't sign in anymore to the website and every attempt I make to contact an admin fails with a 'form invalid' error? I tried clearing the cache to no avail.

Could you please contact the a TSS admin for me and have them reach out to me at rlmp1@Hotmail.com to get me back on the forum?

A million thanks!

Randy"

Could someone please reach out to him and assist him with getting back in?

Thanks!

smp

Love it or hate it.....I'm back - LOL

A gazillion thanks to smp and Gordon for the much needed assist.

Don't know why, but after NO problems since joining I've had to be hand-held by Gordon through the process of deleting cookies (AKA losing ALL my password sign-ins for every other forum to which I'm a member - and there's a bunch of 'em ) but indeed I can now log back in here without drama. Thankfully I maintain a Word file of all my various forum and website passwords and keep a printed copy for just such a calamity. Ain't technology grand? -lol

Oh, I'm using the Microsoft Edge browser that came with my desktop PC - not really a fan of Chrome.

Hi Randy. It's great to have you back on here on TSS. I had the same problem and lot's of work when I dumped all of our cache and cookies, with lots of sites to resign into again. But, as I said on a different thread, many things are actually working better now. And, thanks to Gordon for his great help to you Randy.
