Where to post a QHY 168C sensor question?

#1

Post by STEVE333 »

I'm interested in getting some feedback on the QHY 168C camera. In looking through the various sub-forums I can't find any logical place to place the post. There isn't a "Sensors" sub-forum.

Any suggestions?

Hi Steve,

Put it in the "AP Equipment" sub-forum. To me that's the most logical place.

Cheers,

Thanks JT - Will do.

With so many new sensors available would it make sense to start a "SENSORS" subforum to initiate some focussed discussions?

Just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestion. If we see continued discussions of a topic we will consider adding a subforum.

In theory a great thought. Just trying to cull and describe ALL the new cameras being cranked out by ZWO will be challenging let alone adding all the other manufacturers. I guess we could try to piece-meal this out and ask the APers to choose a sensor/camera and provide the specs and best uses for that particular sensor/camera. Then take all those individual entries and put them in a handy reference.

Just thinking out loud,
JT
