feedback on user notifications
I see that one receives notifications from users so that you can see who is thanking you. This is more like facebook than the old forum, where you had no idea who was "liking" your posts. I recall that this may have once been enabled on the old forum but that was many years ago. So, good...

We keep finding things we like and things that are just 'different'. But so far the 'base' seems to be pretty good. Yeah, I remember that functionality actually functioning on AF, but it was causing issues with typing replies and what not so it was turned off. Agree, nice to see when/where you've been thanked.

I must say I'm liking most of what I've seen this far - certainly different to vBulletin.
The thanks system seems odd in that it pops out and then comes back into the thread - rather than refreshing straight off.

There are a few "strange' and 'new' things we keep finding. Lot's of options. This forum software seems a bit more flexible than v-Bulletin and we have been able to give the whole moderator team the ability to do things that were never possible.
