Free Resource Links?

#1

Post by GCoyote »

Should we have a section under misc for free resources?
  • Free Astronomy sites, e.g. Sky & Telescope's Interactive Sky Chart?
Free online courses, several universities offer them.
Specialized observing weather, e.g. Clear Outside?
Actively maintained lists of Dark Sites?
    Other free or not-for-profit links?
Any metaphor will tear if stretched over too much reality.

Jason 10x50 Binoculars
Celestron 7x50 Binoculars
Svbony 2.1x42 Binoculars
(And a bunch of stuff I'm still trying to fix or find parts for.)

This is a very good idea with a laudable goal, but I also see it as a very labor intensive effort to both set up and maintain. Please keep your ideas coming, we need them to help these forums get better and more pertinent.

Cheers,
JT
