See only a short page in new posts.

This has probably been asked and answered before already but.....often I see only one short page of posts under "new posts" with no preceding lookback pages.
I appreciate good "housekeeping", being OCD this way myself, but it has occasionally been the case that some of my posts are gone within minutes of posting, relegated to somewhere I can't find except under my profile.
Are we missing a lot?
Too tidy perhaps?
It might be nice to see at least 4 pages into the past as a matter of consideration.
Don't get me wrong. I love this new forum. Just think it could be improved a little. :D

Try looking under "active topics" maybe.

New posts will only display the posts created since your last visit. Active topics display the latest 1000 topics posted in. Your posts will display topics you have posted to.

Each of these can be found using the small "hamburger" icon in the upper left corner of the page (assuming you are using the default 'black' style.).

Hope this helps.

Thanks Gordon and Don. Yep-the triple sandwich works. I wondered what the icon represented......

I mostly use the 'Unread Posts' function which shows anything I've not read. Before I leave the site I click on "Mark All Read".
