New to astronomy

#1

Post by Revinvoss »

Hello to you all.
I have been interested in astronomy since I was a very young boy.
I even joined an astronomy chapter in NZ back a long time ago.
Now, at the middle age of 62 I have acquired a Meade Polaris 114, I am still learning to use it.
Again I am new, so for me to even know where to point it for observations will be a learning curve, thought I can find the moon :observer:

Hi Revinvoss. We're all happy to have you on board here with us at TSS. The best way to start learning the night sky is with a good sky atlas (and also a planisphere). Welcome to the forum Revinvoss and the best of wishes on your astronomy hobby adventures.
