New to this site but not to astronomy

#1

Post by northforkman »

Hello and thank you for being part of this forum.

I have had the astronomy bug pretty much my whole life, ever since my parents bought me a Tasco telescope when I was 10 years old. I currently have a Takahasi refractor.

I currently live on the southern Oregon Coast and recently acquired property in Arizona, north of Phoenix, where I would like to set up a small backyard observatory. I would like to use this observatory both when I am in Arizona as well as remotely when I am in Oregon. I also want to get into astrophotography and will be fumbling with that in the near future...
