Cool new forum!! I was a member of the older forum (under a different username) but I dropped off the scene for 3,4 years and didn't realize it was nuked! Looking forward to getting back into the hobby. Cheers everyone.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! My focuser is broken on my current 10" dob, which I've owned now for probably 25 years. I'll be cruising around the forum looking for suggestions on a replacement focuser. I also would like to buy a new telescope over the next year or so. I've had my heart set on a higher end Dob for years and years now. Maybe it's time to pull the trigger so to speak. Anyway, I'm looking forward to starting my research here! Cheers.

Chris.
