Good evening everyone. Looking forward to being on this forum. l have been interested in astronomy for longer than l can remember. Started properly in 2015 with a SW 200p and EQ5 mount which l upgraded with the pro kit. ln 2016 my wife bought me the Celestron CPC800 for my 60th, absolutely love this scope. Had a few scopes since then (still got the CPC800 shes a keeper). Just treated myself to a Nexstar 6SE as a retirement present to myself just wanted something l could put in the back of the car and take to a dark site. l have not tried AP yet but l dont expect it will be long before l am drawn to the dark side.

Many of us are drawn to our dark sites whenever there's a good opportunity.
The light pollution is such a problem in so many places.
