Greetings all

Post by Ro3bert »

I've been messing around with astronomy for years but have only seriously in the past few years. Other than looking at the stars, finding constellations and just enjoying the view. While in college I did take a beginners course in astronomy, all I really remember is that we were to look for and report on the ISS. I did see it and was thrilled. :Astronomer1:

Finally a few years ago I broke down and ordered a Celestron 114LCM, played around with it but afte having no end to alinging it so the GoTo would work I settled on just looking for stars. Not the most satisfying endevour so eventually gave up and stored the scope away.

That all has finally changed and am finally getting it altogether (haven't forgotten where I put it though), but that is for the beginners forum so please look there. It might be a short while so be patient.

Actually it turns out I'll post to the Home observatories, see you there. :observatory:
