You can now "hover" your mouse over a forum topic and it will display a bit of the first and last post within the topic.

Gordon, thank you! I kind of missed that from the old forum but didn't want to say anything; you folks got enough on your plates :D But nice fix, it's appreciated by myself and i'm sure others too.

All the best,

I just discovered this a few minutes ago - NEAT! However, it doesn't seem to work on all topics such as in the Off Topic post "Scientists have Created a Sound so Loud it can Vaporize Water"

Ahhhhh the joys of growing pains :)

Fantastic! That was the feature that it was lacking compared to the previews of AF, nice!

Just one caveat: If there has been no response to a thread yet, I get a tooltip "Unread post" not the contents of the first one.

As far as I'm aware, there is not a way to 'hover' on a touch pad device. I'm sure if the 'coder' had developed the extension more it could be done with a double tap but apparently they didn't take it that far.

Sorry.

Actually I just found that if you keep your finger on the link the preview window shows up. Unfortunately right after that, the standard choice popup with grayed out screen also shows up. If you click outside that, the preview popup is clearly visible.
