We have a ‘Gallery’ to post images in!

In addition to being able to post your images directly into your threads. You can also post images into the forum‘ Gallery’.

How you ask?

First, if you want to just view the images that other members have posted, just find the “Gallery” button in the upper right corner at the top of the page and click on it!

Want to load your own images?

Now you just simply tap your user name on the upper right and choose "User Control Panel" from the drop-down list. There on the far right of the tabs, you should see "Gallery" (aka UCP). Click on the far right tab (Gallery), and you will see where you can create your personal album!

The "Little Person" icon is visible using a different forum style that our "test" forum was defaulted to prior to going live.

The live forum's default style is a little different. Now you just simply tap your user name on the upper right and choose "User Control Panel" from the drop down list. There on the far right of the tabs you should see "Gallery". :)
Fixed!
Thanks for the catch, I'm sure there is still some old 'test' stuff running around. I don't need to add any extra confusion!

Quick update.

To post one of your 'gallery' images in the forums. Locate the image you want in your gallery, towards the bottom of the page (or in the URL if you know what THAT is :( ) and you will see the 'number' of your photo. Remember that number and then start a new post / topic. One of the buttons will be "image" press it and enter the number (just the number) of your photo. When you complete and submit your post /tread your gallery image will be displayed.

Exactly the issue I've been having this afternoon Kathy - glad? I'm not the only one

And clicking on that warning label yields 'Invalid Image'. I've been keeping Gordon in the loop too. At least so far I've learned I CAN post a pic using 'attachments' and browsing my home PC>

I figured it out.. You have to get your mouse pointer in EXACTLY the right spot between the two {image}{image} deals to paste the URL, and there is ZERO room for error but then it WILL post your pic from the gallery. It just took MANY_MANY tries to get the mouse just right for these two pics. I may just stick with using 'attachments'

I don't quite follow you. What are you putting between the image brackets? Are you pasting the entire image URL or just the image number from your gallery?

So when I use the entire URL, I know the image appears.
Image

JT

As a tidbit of potentially useful info. If you notice where your cursor is just after you select the image icon, you'll see it is right between the image brackets. All you do then (assuming you are ready to copy the URL address) is hit "CTRL v" and it will paste the address right where that cursor is. This eliminates the need for messing with the mouse. jt

One is supposed to be able to put either in there, but only the entire image URL actually works for me.

Copy full URL, click larger 'image' button and Ctrl v to paste it yields this:

[image]app.php/gallery/image/178/source
[/image]

using the smaller insert image icon instead and Ctrl v yields this:

If it doesn't work this time I'm stopping to make my supper and then banging my head against the refrigerator for an hour or two. Copy gallery pics full URL? Check. Text Full Editor? Check. Click image button left of the word latex? Check. Ctrl v? check. And I get this:

[image]app.php/gallery/image/177/source
[/image]

For some unknown reason using the big image button and Ctrl v changes the URL into only a clickable link rather than inserting the image it leads to?

At least 2 out of the three ways to post a pic remain viable to me.
