I should probably know this but what are the differences betwixt a like and a thanks?

TBH I tend to use the one closest to my cursor (yes, some days I AM that lazy :) )

Hi,

When you thank someone or get thanked by someone, it goes into the total numbers tally. You can see this in your view user profile page at the bottom. The "Like" button was added as an afterthought to accommodate a behavior pattern that the old AF.net users were accustomed to. It goes into the useless info bin or file 9 or the big round metal file cabinet.

I hadn't even noticed the "like" button.......what does that say for my observing skills?
