Does this mean one should not eat only meat for a meal, or one should eat meat only in the company of at least one other person?

I know that I have violated the principle either way...

To continue the thread, tonight it is shrimp on the barbie, 2 lbs to be exact. My mom is coming over as well as my sister. My job is to be the barbecue operator and the marinade guy, will be served over a bed of rice flavored with a bit of saffron.

I find articles on food and nutrition to be treated the same way everyone handles political discourse these days. I'm only going to listen to those articles I agree with and ignore the rest no matter how true or well reasoned.

this article espouses the long held wisdom that one might be better off replacing red meat in their diet. I also read an article recently that suggested eating red meat was all along never as bad as it was made out to be. I prefer the latter article, so that's the one I will subscribe to. :P

One of my favorite characters in cinema is Fat Clemenza. Made a pot of pasta. I really need to get steady with my diet. Sauteed the beef with black pepper and adobo seasoning.

Tonight, I am preparing Quiche Lorraine - bacon is already cooked, Swiss cheese grated, onions minced, and everything is ready for a 5:15 PM insertion into the oven...

And real men do eat quiche!

Hi all. Well, with the cooler weather here lately, Sheri and I decided to make homemade Chicago style Italian roast beef subs today. Thin sliced top round roast beef, au jus gravy, sauteed green peppers, and hoagie rolls. It's not the real deal unless you drizzle the sandwich in the juice. Yum!

Hi Refractordude. It was very tasty and my pleasure. I forgot to add the curry powder, kosher salt, lemon pepper, parsley, and oregano in the gravy juice mix in my post.

I prepared 1.5 lbs of chicken breasts and thighs in the crockpot this morning with onions, garlic, broth, basic, thyme, and 30 oz. of canellini beans. Need to add Anadouille sausage in about 20 minutes. Served with large cheese rolls. I can't eat that much but my nephew and a friend are coming over to consume the meal.
