Meanwhile in outback Australia..........
Some idiot just had to ask Santa for a telescope didn't they..........
.
I drove through this storm this afternoon. Wind so strong I had to steer against my SUV's drifting. Fast wipers barely cleared the screen the rain was so hard.

Just saw this one and felt like sharing it, because despite being logically false, it is... so very true.

There once was a king who was just 12 inches tall.
He was a terrible king but he made a great ruler.
My doctor told me I'm going deaf.
The news was hard for me to hear.

I dunno, I assume it was a whopper or a whole forest of smaller scopes, mounts, and cameras.
I was just trying to avoid them. Had to wait on the road twice today for storms in the distance to pass across to the east before i could proceed south. I've lost three cars to hail. Sick of it.

Re: Clean, fun jokes... the tradition continues
I stopped by a roadside stand that said Lobster Tails - $2.00
I paid my $2.00 and the guy said - "Once upon a time there was this lobster."
I went to McDonalds and ordered 2 large fries..... they gave me about 75 tiny ones instead.
What do you call a small mother?
A minimum.
Someone threw jar of mayonnaise at me.
I said - "What the Hellman?"
My dog's name is Minton. Today he ate my shuttlecock.
Bad Minton!

Re: Clean, fun jokes... the tradition continues
A man walks into a bar and orders a drink from a bartender. He takes a small man out of his pocket and puts him on the bar; the man is only about one foot tall. He takes a small piano out of his other pocket and the small man starts playing Mozart on it.
The bartender gives the man his drink and says, “Excuse me sir, I know it’s none of my business but where did you get the piano player?” The man replied, “There’s a genie outside on the footpath granting wishes. He probably still there if you hurry.”
The bartender rushed out and a few minutes later he came back in surrounded by an ocean of angry ducks snapping at his feet. Angrily, he turned to the man and said, “You didn’t tell me the genie was deaf. I asked for a million bucks, not a million ducks.”
The man replied, “What did you expect? Did you think I actually wished for a 12-inch pianist!”
