Had a friend tell me he pulled over driving through Jasper to yell at and stop a woman who had smeared honey on her kid's face to entice the 'cute' bears to come over and 'kiss' him for a photo.

I sometimes wonder if there is a factory somewhere cranking these people out.

In the mountains around here we refer to such a person as a touron. (Tourist + moron.)

Here's a sign for real, seen on highway 70 in the Texas panhandle as we were returning from our eclipse trip. I didn't realize that we had left our planet to see the eclipse, although I think the view would have been better if we had stayed on our orb. The population of Earth is listed as 1065, which I think is a bit of an undercount. Dunno about Muleshoe but being farther from Earth, it's either a previously unknown satellite or dark matter planet.

I'm guessing that Segway, even though it is really cool, won't be replacing your Ducati any time soon?
I already have a highly modified Ducati e-scooter and Sabin has a Nami Burn-E 3Max... that segway would not stand a chance of keeping up with either ;)

You must have different laws in Europe!
Here in South Australia it is currently illegal to ride any e-scooter on a road unless it is a hired one (from 2 companies only...) in a prescribed area, and at a maximum speed of 20km/h!!! The quoted speed for the Nami of 105km/h would give our fusty old "Nanny State" legislators a heart attack!

Eyepieces: way too many (is that possible?), but I do like my TV 32mm plossl, 13mm Nagler T6, 27mm Panoptic and 3-6mm Nagler zoom, plus Fujiyama 18mm and 25mm orthos and Tak 7.5mm LE

If riding on pavement/ pedestrian areas the speed is restricted to 6 km/h, on bicycle path the speed is 25 km/h, any other roads or trails use your judgement.
There was discussion across EU that mandatory insurance would be required 01 Jan 24 but all they did in Slovakia was establish top speeds and locations.
