Given the $2,500 price, I'd be more inclined to get a paddleboard. But a fishing boat might be nice. With due respect, Roll Tide!

I have a friend who uses the phrase "Quantity of Quality" to describe his enormous eyepiece collection, several Takahashi OTA's - Mewlon 3000, CN212, TOA150, multiple premium mounts.

He has a separate full set of single premium eyepieces for every one of his scopes and another case with a binoviewer and a set of premium eyepiece pairs.

We abbreviated "Quantity of Quality" to QoQ then expanded it and we now call him Quokka. Consequently, I am always on the lookout for good quokka photos and jokes.

At least quokka is pronounced in Finland the same way as kuokka (= hoe?).

I remember the 1960's, from the age of 5 onwards, travelling to my uncles farm every easter, about 200km from home, in the back of my parents pickup truck. My grandfather would travel back there with me. I'd sit between his legs and he'd hold onto me the whole way up. The vinyl cover would cover most of the back with just one corner loose for us to poke our heads out. Dad would drive and mum and my grandmother would sit across the bench seat. :D

Henk,
He smoked cigarettes and the occasional pipe, neither of which could be lit in the open back of the pickup truck with 70mph wind buffeting us.
