Portrait of "Betty Lou", my mother, 93 and still the boss of her world. Last year she could still come out and view the stars with me. Now she travels "first class" but her astronomy nights are over.
Before my time she was a stewardess for TWA. She has many funny stories. She brags about having once worked for Howard Hughes. 😊
20191113_094414.jpg
We are getting ready to go out in the snow for a few minutes this morning. My daughter knitted her head gear. She won't last long in the cold but she loves the sunshine.

Later I will read to her. Eventually she will nod off for an hour or two while I prepare luncheon.
This afternoon she may not remember the trip into the snow.

Peace to you all.

Hi Seb. A great capture from Mirror Lake. The sky is a lighter blue than the reflection so I finally figured out it was upside down. Thanks for sharing this fine work with us on here Seb, and keep up the great photography work.

Since my flooded basement last week, I've been going through a few things... I found a "bubble wand" that Sarah got about 8 years ago. Still filled with soap and water! Obviously the seals are good :D

Well, that just needed to be revisited. I discovered that you really have to use manual focus with your lens as well to get the bubbles!
This was the start of a large bubble, then I captured the moment it burst and the look of "Awww..."

Yes, there is just something satisfying about it all. Some of them look like gravitational lensing
