That is the cat version of red-eye Not that unusual in a well lit setting.

That looks like a 1920's Model A! One of my favourite trucks. Un modded examples like this one are like hens teeth up here.

This one is sitting in my customers yard. I have no idea if it is all there. There are folks who can take a hulk like this if there is enough metal left and give it new life.

Hi Mark. I ran into one of these Model A dump trucks when we lived in Momence, IL. We were buying a Christmas tree when I spotted it on the farm.The owner actually started it up for me, and the dump box was not powered by hydraulic hoists, but a huge diameter disk with teeth and a chain connected to the box gears. It really worked. Thanks for sharing this with us on here Mark, and the best of regards.

Matt took a squadron out there last week and in his down time he took this hike up the mountain to honor the fallen from another generation. He called me today from the peak then sent me this snap.

The only way I ever see an horizon like that is when i am standing on the shore of the gulf! Jim

West Central Saskatchewan. The best one we've heard from passers-by is that "we could watch our dog run away for three days"! The wind does take a pretty good lick at us once in a while.

The Geese are a decent way to determine the seasons. I live on a natural flight route for the migrations. Ducks, Sandhill Cranes and Geese show up to let us know to get the seeding equipment ready, when they return from up North in their Spring/Summer holiday (and nesting) you'd better have the combining done. There is a sad story about the geese thought. The number of Canada Geese has plummeted while Snow geese, Ross Geese and a few other sub-species has taken a dramatic up-turn. Us locals (at least the older ones) can remember pressure being applied to move their flight path further East. Airplanes could be seen several times a day putting a scare into 'em. The plane always approached them on the River (just 12 miles South) from the West.

Migratory bird hunting (Fall) used to get us introduced to lots of new friends from the US. We rarely see a hunter out after a goose these days. I wouldn't call the flight path change a act of man, but just part of the reason why change is slowly occurring.
