Damn, Mark!

You lucky dog!

I was really looking forward to a tiger cruise when my son was on the CVN-72. They changed plans to stop in Hawii. Major bummer!

Thanks,
Jim

Oh Boy !
I feel your pain, Jim.

This was an experience that competes with any I have ever had. It left a permanent impression on me.

He used to come to work with me when he was a kid. In this cruise the tables were turned.

The LHD is a pigmy compared to CVN 72. 😊

Peace.

Peace to you too my friend. Maybe I’ll get another chance some day. My son got out of the Navy, got a degree, and just went back in. We will see!

Have a fine evening!

I have had NO sky for a while so I have been doing some photography. I hope I am not wearing out my welcome here.

This is my mother, "the lady in Red". She is "parked" here at her corner desk. She likes to "arrange" things. This used to drive me crazy but I understand it now.
Red.jpg
It is a dreary day here, but she tells me in great detail about her walk in the woods and the Indians she met along the way. I asked her about this monologue. She says, "Oh no! I wasn't really walking in the woods. I was just telling you a story."

Thought I would jump in and just post a random image. As most of you know, my wife and I moved to Arizona (Cottonwood) which is referred to as "northern Arizona", but the fact is it's really more 'central' Arizona. We get snow on the local mountains but not any at our house. The sky is clear, no smog, low growing trees so we can see for many miles all around us. We are about 17 miles from Sedona (if any of you may have visited the area before.).

So from time to time I will post a few of my new "local" photos.
