I recently went to a photoshoot of four birds of prey, organised by a local wildlife photography group. I was very pleased with the results! This is a Goshawk feeding on a Pheasant.

Makuser wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 9:06 pm Hi Mike. A great photograph of the country property that you now enjoy. Do you have any Granny Smith apple and Kiwi trees on your property? Thanks Mike and enjoy your summer as we in the northern hemisphere are heading into our winter.
Cheers.

No apples or kiwifruit but we do have lemons, mandarins, plums, feijoas and our new peach tree has lotsa babies. The passionfruit are not doing so well but the paulownia is starting to rocket away.

:text-thankyoublue:

I hope I have not given the impression that I own the dirt in the vista displayed. Rather my wife and I wake up each day to this view. This is from our deck.

Hi Mark. A beautiful pair of images with your new drone camera. I just can't get over the sharpness and clarity of these photos. Thanks for sharing these with us on here Mark and keep up the great photography with the drone camera.
PS. I see where parts of Kankakee and Will counties are under flood warnings. The Kankakee River may back up with all the ice jambs downstream from Wilmington and may even affect the bridge passage on Interstate 55 (they used to call it the "double nickel" when we lived up there). Didn't they just go through all of this in February 2019?
