"Nerine bowdenii"

Although not looking its most pristine, this little pink beauty was very kindly donated to us by a visiting bird in our garden a couple of years ago.

We never planted it, so we assume that is how it got here.

Ibises are often called "bin chickens" here in Australia due to their love of raiding the garbage bins in parks etc...

Here is proof that aliens are actually locals, and they have been on the Earth for millions of years, even before us: a fossilised miniature alien skull (found in the local playground!): :lol:

Dean, I'm not surprised that you sent that link. I understand you have some impressive trees down under. A professor at Humboldt State here in Arcata, Steve Sillett, researches the forest canopies of tall trees, and he visited the Hume Plateau a while ago. Some of his exploits are described in The Wild Trees--a fun read.
