Re: Weather
But just 20 miles north of here it's almost 20 degrees colder.
Stay warm all!

Re: Weather
Over the next ten days we're looking at upper-60s through Tuesday, dropping to upper 40s Wednesday as a storm comes through bringing significant (for us) rain through Tuesday the following week, perhaps beyond that.
Guess I'll try to make a dent in my reading backlog.

Re: Weather
Heavy rain and / or sleet and / or snow forecast for tomorrow, depending on location. if Southern Wisconsin gets hit, I might have to break out the snowshoes and head north - there's not been much snow here this winter.
Man... That's some icky-tasting stuff!

Re: Weather
The weather person said don't get used to it, it's gonna drop into the 70s next week lol
Sometimes I question my sanity, being that we are moving up north in several months.

Re: Weather
The leaves have started appearing on the trees.
Watch, we will have a frost next month and the leaves will turn colour, fall off and I get to rake the yard again lol (it's happened before).

Excellent!SkyHiker wrote: ↑Mon Feb 27, 2023 3:08 am Continuing our "California blizzard". Usually this means it is too cold to walk around in T shirts, but I admit it has been pretty cold. Today it was probably about 4C though most of it was 8-12C. Snow on the mountains surrounding SB. Inside I wear a vest with thick lining and a hood, wanting not to burn much CH4 because of the CO2. The forecast is rain for the next 3 days. On Wednesday I will be retired and will be looking for AP opportunities though I may wait for the next new Moon.

I couldn't care less about "CO2", winter time I keep the house warm enough to wear shorts and t-shirt inside, I like being comfortable during retirement.

He was the character in Greek mythology who was doomed by Zeus to rolling a rock up a hill, only to have it roll down. Then he started all over again, perpetually.
