We certainly got the thunderstorm last night that had been predicted.

It went on right throughout the night into the early hours of this morning.

It woke us up a couple of times, especially when it was right overhead and very loud.

It finally stopped round 3.15am.

We just have light rain at the moment with the temperature at 15℃ (59℉), with an expected high of 17℃ (62.6℉).

Reminds me of growing up in the UP. We still get the cold and snow in Chicago, but it seems a fraction of what I remember from years ago. Global warming? Who knows? I'll take cold any day though as long as the sky is clear.

Warm here, suddenly and finally. It feels like we went from heater to aid conditioner in 24 hours. I may have warped as a result.

Now it's warmer to look at the sky in the evening, but the darkest evening doesn't really begin until 9:30 - 10:00. Life is tradeoffs.

Just got home from a week in Curaçao, where it was in the high 80'sF before real-feel, to the same in Massachusetts.


Going to have thunderstorms though and cool it WAY down < 70F.

We seem to be getting into a pattern where it's cloudy or mostly cloudy until... dawn. Then it's clear until late afternoon.
