It's been a week of +30C here since Monday. At least it's been cooling down in the evening to comfortable levels and nicely made for some very nice sessions in a shirt and shorts well past 2am with really clear skies!... :) It looks this heat wave will collapse next Monday with a storm and then back to more normal 20 - 23C temps...

No hosepipe ban here so far although I'll be surprised if they don't introduce one in the next week unless get a deluge of water soon... :p

Beautiful clear night with a full moon to spoil it.
Saw a few meteors.
Temps in the 50s this morning.
I may have to put on actual clothes.

Feels like a touch of fall in the air, but it's quite warm today and was super humid last night. Hoping for 2 (!) clear nights in a row.

This little feller was NE of me around dinner time last night. Planning on a dark site trip Sunday, but forecast is 50% chance of rain so flip a coin.

We are getting a mixture of thunderstorms, with not much rain though, then sunny intervals.

Not good for many outdoor activities just yet (day or night)

Still warm here (English Midlands) although the occasional thunderstorm isn't helping observing prospects.

Yesterday's monsoon has ended. I heard on the radio that the Wisconsin Dept of Transportation is using snowplows to push standing water off an interstate near one of my dark sites. Supposed to clear by tomorrow night.
