Mostly sunny today (Saturday), with rain beginning late tonight and continuing through Monday afternoon, followed by three days of clouds, then rain again next Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday. That's as far ahead as the forecast projects.

Guess I'll be catching up on my reading.

Continued cloudy and cool. We actually need some rain but all we are getting is grey.
Hoping for at least one more decent night while Mars is still in a favorable position.

Took out the trash last night and was shocked to see a clear sky! Mars almost directly overhead. By the time I could get on it with a scope - clouds pushed across the sky. Nothing like a missed opportunity.

Maybe a *slight* chance (50-60% cloud cover) tomorrow morning or at least a couple sucker holes?

The ten-day outlook shows upper-60s today (Tuesday), drifting up to 80° by Christmas Day and Monday, then sliding down to mid-60s by the middle of next week. 40s overnight, mix of sun and clouds throughout the period.

Even though Mars was high overhead last night in a mostly clear sky, it looked like mud as I have a >120 mph jet stream on top of me.
On the plus side, that is expected to keep this week's big storm from doing serious damage in my area.

Christmas Day hit 81° with 79° Monday. Rain should begin Tuesday afternoon, continuing through Wednesday next week with varying intensities. 50s / 60s daytime highs.

If the forecast amounts come down, it will be like 2018 winter storm which was the last gully-washer we had.

Glad I just retired from the county road maintenance department!
