I had a theory at work, before retirement, that it was company policy that all new software had to be more expensive and harder to use than what it was replacing. Because if that experience, after retirement my rule is: If it runs, it is just fine!

Well I think there are two possibilities. You can see the hook in the hot dog in the photo, so if the black hole takes the bait we'l have it, but the hook could cut it up a bit. The second possibility is like the real story about the dog that was trapped in a frozen lake and they hung a hot dog from a drone to lure it out. If this happens the black hole would be undamaged. That's probably the preferred outcome.
