Need advice: Explore Scientific or something else?

This is surprising. I've not heard of problems with ES, but I haven't looked for negative reviews. I only have a TW 1 mount from them and I suspect it should have had a tripod adapter plate included which it did not. Or I might have tossed it with the packing materials.

Anyway, I emailed their customer service about it and never got a response. No matter b/c I put the TW1 on a Manfrotto with a long 3/8 screw. Works ok.

As others have written, after two bad experiences, they would hit my "do not buy" list.
