IPolar...an alternative to the Polemaster
Hopefully this is allowed!
I did a video on the iOptron iPolar turns out it's not just ioptron mounts!
In the video I cover fitting it to my Skywatcher HEQ5 pro, using the software and general thoughts on it.
I quite like it!
Happy to answer any questions also

Re: IPolar...an alternative to the Polemaster
That is a very informative and well done video. It looks like a very interesting product.
My only comment is did you verify your polar alignment with a different method to make sure that the information the software gave you was actually correct? Did you accomplish a drift alignment afterwards to verify that you really did have an excellent polar alignment?
Nicely done,
JT

I knew I would miss something out! Hehe basically before I got my polemaster my guiding was awful. Like the Himalayas ...every single night. After polemaster I got a nice smooooth graph with 0.15-0.3total. not the most scientific method and I will drift align when the weather is nicer...but I was getting about the same error with the ipolar as I was with the polemaster. I managed to capture about 6 subs before the clouds came in and that graph was lovely and smooth
