Re: ZWO Camera
It is a great camera, the square format puts some off - in reality this is not an issue. If you search the 533 on Astrobin you will find plenty of images. One aspect I like is it’s flexibility, it is suitable for both DSO work and planetary. As a value proposition it gives you good bang for the bucks, and avoids amp glow issues at an economical price point.
Cheers,
Tony.

Re: ZWO Camera
Hi Astrographymc,
I've had the 533 for about 8 months and it is really a wonderful camera both for ease of imaging and processing (very low noise and no amp glow).
Like Tony said, the square sensor does put some off, but I really have grown to like it a lot. 10x10 images look great on the wall.
Since the sensor is somewhat small, make sure that it will work with your equipment (fov ). You can try this for fov modeling https://astronomy.tools/calculators/field_of_view/.
Nice bang for the buck. A+ in my book.
Great bang for the buck

Re: ZWO Camera
Hi Astrographymc,
Just want to pass this along in case you are interested. I am set up tonight (first time since May 6) and it is the warmest that I have imaged so far with the 533.
My focuser is reporting 29C. I have the camera cooled to 0C and the cooler power is at 62% (using the native driver).
