Switching imaging rigs for the rest of the year

#1

Post by AstroBee »

My normal imaging rig for the past couple of years has been the Explore Scientific ED127mm seen here.

I've also imaged a few times in the past with my little SlellarVue SV70T but only a couple of different targets like the Andromeda Galaxy and the North American Nebula.
Since I'm getting back into doing live star parties, both private events and with our local club, I decided to convert my imaging setup back to the SV70T and was wondering last night if there are more decent targets for this imaging rig.
Boy was I surprised to find so many great opportunities with this wide-field rig. Here's what the setup looks like on my CGX. It's so tiny!

So over the summer and into fall in no particular order, from NINA, here are the framing shots, for what I plan to image over the next several months.
Any other recommendations are welcome!
