Gain and offset Altair Hypercam 26C

#1

Post by MarcoS »

Good day,
I have been away from a while, and back now with a little question.

I am planning to replace my trusted modded EOS1100D with a Altair Hypercam 26C.
I'm looking for tips for a starting point in setting gain and offset.
I will start imagining with a carbon RC-8, usually from my location and with the EOS with a UHSc filter and reducer I take 300-400 sec frames at ISO 1600.
Any suggestion on which setting to start?
Thanks
Clear Skies, Marco
