Sorry for the cloudy/rainy weather.
These two birthday gifts from my wife just came in last week after almost 3 months on order.
One for my 8”SCT, and one for my 102mm refractor.
I just installed this one and got it talking to everything. Now for some clear skies to check it out.
A little over a month ago I got my imaging set up so I can control everything from inside my home, except the focusing. It was a pain going in and out of the house to get on focus. Hopefully it will all work as advertised and planned.

I recently got the same unit for use with a WO Z61. Works great so far. One key is how you set the zero point. Then you can make notes about the focus points for common distant objects. For me, that was 8600. For testing with close objects around the house, it was in the 13,000 range.
In my case I found that flipping the focus bracket and knobs on the top worked better than on the lower part.

Ed,
From what I read and watching videos, the zero position is set within a couple of mm with the focuser all the way to the “in” position. I set my zero with the mm indication on the scope focuser at 2mm. Doing that, with the focuser fully extended to 95mm, the position from the eaf software indicates 23878.
Previously when imaging DSO the setting on the manual focuser on the telescope was close to 83mm which correlates to 21091 on the eaf software.
The backlash on this eaf equated to 35 steps.
