Auto Focus on Edge HD 11"

Post by lostone »

Ok, people. Starting to get a bit on the frustrated side. I'm want/need auto focus on a New Edge HD 11 I just got. I purchased a PegasusAstro focus cube zero, Hook it up and NOTHING. It seem like it doesn't have to torque to rotate the focus knob. It tries but just can't seem to do it. I think someone forgot to feed it their wheaties. (On and before you say, Yes the mirror locks are off)

So what I am asking is who has an Edge HD 11 or 14 and what are you using for your auto focus. I need something for the interim time line. I have a Moonlite Litecrawler on order, but they are 6 to 8 weeks out and I want to get first light on this scope.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to your responses.

Yes, it turns as intended, Just don't have the umph to rotate the focuser, I've played around with the tension on the belt.
