ZWO 174mm vs 290mm for Barlow size Questions
Hey all,
I was just wondering about the 174mm with 5.83um pixel size and using a Barlow vs using the 290mm with 2.9um Pixels or even a camera with around 3.75um Pixels.
Would I have to up my Barlow magnification when using the 174mm for Lunar imaging and such since it has about double the Pixel size of the 290mm? I plan on using it with my AD12. So far I was able to get about 3x Mag on a good seeing night with the 290mm using the Telvue Big Barlow with a 2" adapter on it.
If I need more magnification, then could I add more distance to the TV Big Barlow or just Double stack Barlows?
And the last questions I have heard in the past that a ZWO with around 3.75um pixel size is like using a 6.5-7mm eyepiece, now does the 174mm have the same or is it a higher equvilant, for example 10mm eyepiece. I am just trying to calculate the Magnification.
Thanks
