Synscan WiFi Dongle

#1

Post by mariner10 »

Hi, for the first time last night I tried to use my newly acquired Synscan WiFi dongle to drive my EQ8 Pro.
It connected okay and seemed to be fine until I tried to do anything with it. No matter what I selected I kept getting the following error message (this includes trying to do a star alignment):
"[FireDAC][Comp][Clnt]-500. Application must have only single FDManager".
None of that makes even the remotest sense to me so if anybody has come across this before or know what it might mean, please share.
Thanks.

Steve.

Hello Steve

Sounds like it's trying to run two instances of something which it can't. Do you get the same error message if you completely shut it down and then start again?

Regards

Graeme

Hey Graeme,
I didn't but I'm going to try again tonight if the cloud clears. If I get the same message I'll let you know that it failed again.
Cheers.
