Pulled the trigger...
FLO Order placed ZwoASI 533 Pro TEC, Oplong CLS Filter. Now I have a large learning curve, not only on the camera, but guiding, PHD2 etc. Mind you that sounds like fun
But worse is proving to my Missus that it was a worthwhile purchase.

Re: Pulled the trigger...
A Big Congrats!!!
The second part of your post is always the most difficult aspect of our hobby.
Your learning curve will be steep and the problem a lot of us face is that you will have the correct sky conditions infrequently enough that you keep having to "relearn" a lot of the knowledge you need to successfully accomplish a decent LEDSO image.
Congrats again,
JT

Good for you Tony! As for the missus, I'm sure once she sees the stunning results you get, as well as keeping yourself busy, she'll be appreciative
You know, maybe I should do this...
All the best,
Mark

Re: Pulled the trigger...
Thanks all, I look forward to seeing what I can do with the new camera, you know it’s nice to have such a supportive forum. It gave me the confidence to go for this, and not something less capable.
Of course how capable I am to use it is still an open question but whatever it’s a moment.

She doesn't know about the Rabbit Hole ???
I would try explain that to her rather than trying to prove anything...
Good luck with your learning curve.
