Filters for use with a dslr
I shoot with a dslr camera and really want to get me a dual narrowband filter but am wondering if I should get the dslr clip in filter or the 2" thread on filter? Or does it even make a difference?
Telescopes: Celestron 6" Newtonian, Orion 8" Astrograph
Guide scope: 50mm guidescope
Camera: modded Canon T7i, stock Canon T1i
Software: PixInsight

Clip in filters tend to be more expensive and will hamstring you to that particular format of camera.
In my experience, a 2" equivalent filter will cost less and is far more ubiquitous inAP circles.
