Help me interpret these curves please
Played around a little last night with spacing for the RSS-I focal reducer.
I present two curves with descriptions below.
99 mm curve by Tom Whit, on Flickr
This was with a spacing of around 99mm to the focal plane.
96 mm curve by Tom Whit, on Flickr
This was with a spacing of around 96mm
If I am guessing correctly that the 96mm may have moved in a tiny bit to far given the 'hump' in the center?
Which seems kind of odd as Baader states an 'ideal' distance of 94.5 ?

Okay well never mind. It turns out the second one was an anomaly. Evidently you should not use single frames in ccd inspector

Okay here is a curve from last night I had ground off 2mm of adaptor length to achieve the prescribed back focus of 94.5. Some improvement but damn!

Thanks for sharing that Tom. I hope you can find the right distance, But jeez that's a lot of work to get it right!

Ive been talking with Kathy. Evidently the paracorr works quite well with a DSLR .
Theccd camera requires a few hoops to jump through.
