question about focal reducer for refractor

#1

Post by BABOafrica »

I just got a new Meade SCT focal reducer for my Celestron 8" SCT. It seems to work well on the SCT, though it's too cloudy to do any AP with it yet.

In the meantime, I would like to try attaching the FR to my Meade f/9 102mm APO.

I can easily buy an adapter on ebay that is labelled >>Female M31*0.5 to Male SCT Threaded Ring<<

That would allow me attach the FR to this adapter. But then I would need an extension tube that screws into the M31*0.5 side of the adapter.

Where can I get an extension tube with MALE M31*0.5 thread ???
