Payback For My New Camera!!!

This is what I get for buying a new AP camera.

For any of doubters that believe that the weather "curse" is baloney when you make an astronomy purchase, it is absolutely true!

The ASI 533 MC Pro is due to arrive tomorrow by UPS. I am located on the right side of "cone" on the Mississippi coast (the "bad " side as of now).

House is boarded up. Hoping for the best!

Yes, I have cursed the clouds before. But only when I am set up and the clouds move in.
I know that you are familiar with clouds where you live. We just don’t get many opportunities.
If I can come out of this without damage, I will be thankful. Thanks for the reply well wishes!

Yeah Mark, the timing is really strange. Luckily, I got the camera today and it didn't get hug up in transit. Sally's projected path keeps inching East (which is a good thing for me). Landfall is supposed to be in about 24 hours.This sucker is moving really slow (5 mph), so it is really supposed to be a really bad rain event with 10 -20 inches of rain over a couple of days.

This is my "boarded up" house.

Well, things are still good and I have my new 533 connected to my laptop. Having a glass of wine and trying to figure out the Cooling Aid in APT.

Very quiet here at home with me and the dogs. My wife (nurse) has been sequestered at the hospital until this is over.
